iSchool KKU joins brand making experts on Consumer Insight Seminar

 

Department of Information Science, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of KKU (iSchool KKU) hosts the 3rd iTALK “”Consumer insight: The secret to success”, which is a paradigm shift in learning for new generation learners.

With the aim to create a platform that enables its information science students to learn to be event organiser, iSchool hosts a seminar entitled, “Consumer insight: The secret to success” to discuss ideas on digital business. The activity conducted on August 29, at HUSO Theatre, at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences discussed the method for in-depth data recruiting for brand creation and turning it to digital market. The special guests are: Khun Raweewan Nomrawee, an assistant Brand Activation Director of Dentsu One (Bangkok), and  Khun Piyongkorn Chinpornroojee, a senior Brand Consultant Creative Juice,Bangkok,. Both are the famous event organisers and back-scene promotors of the well-known brand such as Honda, Gatsby and Clear.  Both guest speakers shared the stage with their ideas on finding insight from the surrounding and techniques for successful event organising.

Mr. Tosin Graichan, a project manager, said “This event is an eye opening and worth part-taking for students like us. The event allows us to listen to the expert ideas on how to be successful event organiser while learning to do everything as an organiser of this event is both challenging and great learning for us. With the help from our supervisor, the students earn more skills for the digitalised world”.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Prawit Chaichauy, a chairperson of the information science program, said iSchool KKU have been selected by the government to join a program that create modern graduates with digital skills since 2018. The faculty has amended its instruction and learning method to enable practical learning. This event is framed on the idea on Information & Knowledge Acquisition which is a learning module that encourage students to think, do, and solve the problem.

The iTalk3 earns so much recognition from the participants that the organisers agree to release an activity of this kind again in September.
