Faculty of Education hosts an instructional training for the teachers from Srisaket Primary Educational Service Areas Offices 1-4 and Srisaket Secondary Educational Service Areas Office 28 between June 21-22, 2019.
On June 21-22, 2019, At Srisaket Rajabhat University, Department of Curriculum and Instruction hosted a training for the Srisaket teachers. The program was conducted under the lead of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sittipol Art-In, a deputy dean and chairman of the graduate curriculum on Curriculum and Instruction, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Angkana Toongkasamit, a chairman of the graduate curriculum on Social Studies and a group of the master degree students in curriculum and instruction. The participants were teachers from the primary and the secondary school levels. The two topics of the training included; 1) The development of curriculum that promotes basic skills and norms for ASEAN citizenship for the students residing in the Thai border zones, 2) The methodologies for learning skills and innovation development of the 21st century leaners. Asst. On-thida Prasarn, an instructor at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction of Srisaket Rajabhat University also took part in the activity as a trainer.
The training is aimed to help the teachers to build their instructional skills that help develop norms and life skills for the border area students. It is also hoped that the teachers will be able to train their students on how to be good citizen of ASEAN and to earn skills needed for living life based on the demands of the 21st century citizenship.
