Khon Kaen University received an outstanding international cooperative education at the 10th Thailand Cooperative Education and is ready to host the 11th event
Today, June 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prapansak Chaweerat, Director of Office of Academic Administration and Development, Khon Kaen University received went to receive an outstanding international cooperative education management at the 10th Thailand Cooperative Education Day. Dr. Prapansak received an honorable trophy from Dr. Orasa Pawawimon, Deputy General Secretary of Higher Education Commission, at the Office of General Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
Khon Kaen University has been awarded the outstanding international cooperative education management twice, in 2015 and this year. The award brings back home pride among all members of the university.
Khon Kaen University is also granted an opportunity to host the 11th Thailand Cooperative Education Day. The logo flag has been presented to Asst. Prof. Piyawat Saipan, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of Office of Academic Administration and Development as the chairman of the Upper Northeast Cooperative Education Development Network. Preparation for the event will be joined by the chairman of the Lower Northeast Cooperative Education Development Network, with an aim for a big event next time.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prapansak Chaweerat, Director of Office of Academic Administration and Development said, “Office of Academic Administration and Development accents graduate development by means of cooperative education. We receive support in terms of budget and personnel from deans and lecturers. Everyone concerned is dedicated to the work. Even the students, when they return, they assist younger students. After the program has been carried out for many years, we are certain that the students have acquired skills and expertise from the practicum enterprises. The 4 months there enable them to apply the knowledge from classroom in their work. The workplace receives new innovations from the students, while the students learn the working technologies from the workplace. Therefore, I believe that these students are qualified for their future occupation. I’m grateful to the administrators’ policy that supports this program and I thank all of the deans, advisors, supervisors, students, workplaces, and staff members who are the key mechanisms for the success of this program until we receive the prizes, the prizes that belong to everyone on KKU. I promise the development will continue.”
