Aligned with Thailand’s national strategy for “Thailand 4.0,” the “Open Society” policy aims to drive the nation towards a future of security, prosperity, and sustainability. This initiative not only supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also positions KKU as a leader in innovative and inclusive education.

KKU’s strategic plan for 2025-2028 focuses on nurturing the “Spiritual” pillar, promoting governance with integrity and transparency. The university is dedicated to empowering students, encouraging their active involvement in decision-making, and educating them on human rights and social justice.

Mr. Surapon highlighted the importance of transparency and accountability, introducing governance indicators like ITA to ensure integrity at all levels. This approach is complemented by promoting ten core governance values and addressing social conflicts, reinforcing KKU’s role as a model institution.
