August 20, 2024 – KKU celebrated the dedication and excellence of its staff today during a ceremony aimed at strengthening employee engagement and reinforcing the institution’s core values. The event, held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sirikunakorn Hall 3, saw over 200 staff members in attendance.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards to 34 outstanding employees, recognized for their exemplary service and commitment to KKU’s mission. These awards were personally handed out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, President of KKU, who praised the honorees for their unwavering dedication and service excellence.
“Your efforts have not only facilitated smooth operations within your departments but have also significantly contributed to the university’s overall success. Your commitment is a testament to the values we hold dear at KKU,” said Dr. Chanchai. “Congratulations to all the awardees and to the five departments that excelled in promoting our SMART values through creative video presentations. Let us continue to advance together and make KKU a place we all take pride in. Keep moving together.”
The SMART values, a cornerstone of KKU’s institutional ethos, were prominently featured throughout the event. In addition to individual awards, five departments were recognized for their innovative video projects that effectively communicated and promoted these values across the university. The winning departments were selected from 18 entries, underscoring the widespread commitment to KKU’s vision.
Ms. Sunipa Sawaingern, Director of the Office of the President, outlined the objectives of the initiative, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging the hard work and dedication of KKU staff. “This program is designed to boost morale, reward excellence, and reinforce the idea that dedication and hard work are not only recognized but deeply valued. Our honorees have shown exceptional commitment, helping to create a supportive and efficient working environment,” she remarked.
One of the award recipients, Ms. Watchara Noichompoo, a public relations officer with 37 years of service, shared her reflections on receiving the honor. “Throughout my career, my focus has always been on ensuring satisfaction and leaving a lasting positive impression on those I serve. This recognition is not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the collective spirit and service-oriented mindset that drives us all at KKU,” she said.
