April 17, 2024 – Office of Academic Services held a meeting to revise the administrative plan for lifelong education at Maneethewa Room, Office of Academic Service. The objective is to increase the efficiency of the administration of lifelong education curriculum in terms of the implementation platform and in collaboration among faculties and institutions, where the Office of Academic Service will be the center for the implementation in this regard for Khon Kaen University.
The meeting was honored to have Assoc. Prof. Pensri Jaroenwanich, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy; Prof. Kiatchai Fugsri, Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School; and Asst. Prof. Piyawat Saipan, Ph.D., Director of the Academic Development and Administration Bureau, joining in the discussion.
Assoc. Prof. Pensri Jaroenwanich, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy presented the overall picture of the implementation in developing a Non-Degree program of KKBS, and the guidelines for developing a program by evaluating the needs of the target group so that the program will be direct to their needs. At the same time, she mentioned the direction of the development of Khon Kaen University’s lifelong education program.
Prof. Kiatchai Fugsri, Ph.D., Dean of the Graduate School presented the overall structure of the development of a Non-degree program and a Lifelong program of different institutions in the University in order to build the guidelines and raise collaboration in making lifelong education programs and connection of different platforms in Khon Kaen University, with the center being at the Office of Academic Service.
Assoc. Prof, Chuchat Kamollert, Ph.D., Director of the Office of Academic Service talked about the implementation under the mission of the lifelong education curriculum, both in terms of accreditation and the drafting of different announcements related to coordination of the new generation curriculum. The Office of Academic Service is the center in implementing Khon Kaen University’s lifelong education programs, including non-degree programs. The outcomes were then reported to the participants at the meeting.
At the meeting, there was the revision and setting of directions for the work in developing and clarifying the lifelong education curriculum so that it answers the strategy in Education Transformation of Khon Kaen University.
