October 9-10, 2023 – Teams of students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University won prizes at the 3rd ASEAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITIONS. This international competition was organized for students under the academic collaboration of 5 universities from 5 countries in Southeast Asia: Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University; Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang, Indonesia; Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Polytechnic University of The Philippines; and Thai Nguyen University of Economics & Business Administration, Vietnam. The event has been held for the third time and hosted by Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The final round of competition was on October 9-10, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
KKU students who joined the competition were under the supervision and under the international and organizational communication mission of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy. The objectives were to build a collaborative network with overseas institutions, to upgrade education, research and academic services for the internationalization purpose. The students and lecturers joining this event had a chance to exchange experiences and carry out activities with the students from other universities abroad. In so doing, the network was strengthened together with the students’ perception and understanding of cultures and ways of living of students in other countries that are different from Thailand. The teams of KKBS students, majoring in marketing, under the supervision of Dr. Apasri Sothornwit and Dr. Piyaporn Uamsuwan were able to win and awarded prizes from the competition, as follows.
