KKU gets ready for community event, “KKU CSV 2023” on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Khon Kaen Railway Station
Monday September 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. – The Special Affairs Division and Communications Division, Office of the President of Khon Kaen University held a meeting with external networks to get ready for the big KKU CSV 2023, the event that answers the strategy: Creating Shared Value, for the fiscal year 2023. Ajarn Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs chaired the meeting, which was held at Sarasin Room, Sirikunakorn Building. Representatives of over 20 organizations, both governmental and private attended the meeting.
KKU CSV is aimed at creating values to the society. The event this year is organized under the fiscal year 2023 and is scheduled on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at the area of Khon Kaen Railway Station. The objectives are for lecturers, staff and students of Khon Kaen University to serve the communities with academic knowledge and innovations. The activities include health care services and other consultation. KKU also receives collaboration from organizational networks in Khon Kaen that join in offering community services in different aspects for free. It is expected that what are offering will be more than last year.
Last year, the KKU CSV 2022 featured basic health check-ups, giving health-related consults, screening liver fluke disease, exhibition on liver fluke disease, killing ticks and fleas for pets, etc. There were zones where communities brought their farm products to sell under the Poverty Mitigation Project, as well as booths for blood donation, mobile dental clinic, consultation on ADHD symptoms, depression, evaluation of tension, memory evaluation, dementia, trial for being news reporters, KKU Library Book Exchange, youth reading rendezvous, advice on law for daily life, basic screening heart disease, EKG test, preparation before getting anesthesia, pain release and acupuncture, etc.
